I'm currently playing an Eldritch Knight/Bladesinger (4/4). If you reset the EK to arcane archetype and set the Wizard as -- and then change it

The archetypal Eldritch Knight combines the martial mastery common to all fighters with a careful study of magic. Eldritch Knights use magical techniques similar to those practiced by wizards.

Rapier: The Bladesinger Wizard's go-to weapon. Scimitar: Tempting for the Bladesinger if you want to explore Two-Weapon Fighting, but you can't perform Somatic components with a weapon in your hand so you can't cast Shield if you're using two scimitars. You'll need War Caster to overcome that limitation, and even if you go that route remember EK attacks with both attacks available. If both miss, they try again next turn. If either hits, Eldritch Strike (the level 10 archetype feature) triggers against the target, and EK will proceed to the next step. (a turn passes) On EK's next turn, they cast hold person on the person targeted previously.

Aleksander Ek, 0.000054%. Madilene Gråberg  #1 I find myself in a very intriguing character build situation, where I am putting together a 4th level high elf Eldritch Knight whose fluff is that he is a Bladesinger. So he's a Fighter that has some spellcasting at his disposal (mainly for defensive spells and perhaps an AoE attack spell.) Ek/bladesinger multiclassing help #1 Jul 27, 2020. kendomonkx. kendomonkx. Also Bladesinger 6 / Monk 2/ Fighter 2/ Sorceror 2 is better Nova approach to max attacks avenue.

(Personally I'd take resilient: con over warcaster because dual-wielding is kinda a mess RAW with a bladesinger, but it's not a bad choice). With point buy you can start out with a 16 in both Int and Dex. Bladesingers really need to invest in ASIs whenever possible. In combat, a bladesinger utilizes a series of intricate, elegant maneuvers that fend off injury and allow the 5e bladesinger to channel magic to devastating attacks and a cunning defense.

– Bladesinger description. This sounds like War Magic. Weaving magic into its blade work, combining martial and arcane. It would allow them to use both magic and martial in melee combat, like an EK. Serious question, is there any design reason why they would choose Extra Attack over War Magic?

Fluffwise, I think you made the right choice in going EK. The other classes you mentioned might come close-ish, but EK seems like it was intended to cover that Bladesinger niche. It just captures the flavor so well! It's tempting to go with mage armor, but I feel like that's taking the fluff train one stop too far.

Ek bladesinger

Jan 26, 2017 I would want the war magic feature from EK (so 7 levels) and then put the rest in wizard. Or just go full Blade singer and get a feat to make you

Many who have observed a bladesinger at work remember the display as one of the more beautiful experiences in their life, a glorious dance accompanied by a singing blade. 2016-02-02 · Elven Bladesinger (L20 Fighter/Wizard) In the Forgotten Realms setting, the Bladesinger combines quick melee attacks with magic. Armed with a Moonblade, their fighting prowess is unparalleled. Due to the nature of DDO, this can be considered a hard build to play. The Bladesinger PRC.
